Moravian Indian Diaries (1763-65)

The following six diaries, maintained in German by Moravian missionaries, give uncommon insights into the experience of the 140 Native Americans detained in Philadelphia (Province Island and the Philadlephia Barracks) between December 1, 1763 and April 3, 1765.
