My Love to poor Doctor Wooltz, and I am very Sorry for his great late
misfortune His family is really to be pittied on the Melancholy Occasion.

William Logan Esqhas sent me up a receipt for the money Viz: 
£16:16:11 ½ which I sent him down under the Care of MCadwaladen 
Morris the 22December, being the Balance of William Wright’s bond
Due to MLogan’s Father’s Estate & Here follows a Copy of WLogan
Esqrs Receipt. Received the 28th December 1767 from Mar Wright
(widow) & James Burd EsqExecutors of WWright deceased by the hands
of Edward Shippen Esqat Lancaster Sixteen pounds 16/11 ½ being in full
of the Principal Money & Interest due to the Estate of my Father
James Logan deceased from said William Wrights bond

I now send you by Mr[Houry Rounich], & in his own
way you

One quarter Cask of Mountain Wine (being the Same which Doctor
Boyde returned because it was to Sweet which the Doctor owed to me stood in
the open Cellar with brass Cock in it, the key in his own pocket! I told him that
his soldier Servant could as easily drawn the brass Cock out a wooden Spoil but no-
thing is to be said of this now, all Things considered) which took up 8 ¾ gallons 
of Teneriff to fill it up—

one barrel of Teneriff for Albright Swynford One Mountain quarter Cask
of my own which I Suppose holds 30 [co] 32 gallons filled up with Madeira Wine
for Geo: Fay We could not possibly Spare time to measure the 2 last mea
sure mentioned Casks you must do it when empty the Barcost 5/ you will
see by the Papers that Governor Penn is gone to New York however I wrote to 
is Secretary and therefore the Council will meet & do the needful about the
Trayeral affair of the Indians  your Mammy, & Granny Gray is she could
& Poor Patty join with Me in Our Love to your Self & Wife  & Children
Tell Jemmy not to pull off his Shoes this Cold weather at least
