These Descendants of Popery are implacable and vindictive when they take a Dislike, they urge on to the Destruction of the hated person, but nevertheless I will stand fast in the Truth, which the LORD hath taught me from the Begining, and can say that Calvin’s Rules of Faith are more Consonant to Scripture Doctrines than any Reformations that have been brought about by Power or Party; this is my Creed, which I can seal with my Blood, nor am fearful to brandish the Sword of the Cause of CHRIST.

I would not have the World believe that I give up my Principles, as others can do, put them on and off, like an easy Coat as serves their Purpose.
